About Me

Hi everyone!

For those of you that know me, you know what's coming and how much I love to talk, about everything.

For those of you that don't know me well, or at all, let me introduce myself.

My name is Tori, and the internet knows we me as Tori Ashley.

I'm 25 and live in sunny California. I grew up in the San Diego/Orange County/Riverside area and moved to Texas in 2018 during my high school years.

I then attended college and spent almost 7 years out there before deciding it was time to come home and chase my dreams

I've always been into writing, reading, and creative spaces. I've had a blog since 2015 and have moved across many platforms in the 10+ years I've been writing. During college I was actually president of my schools "The Odyssey Online" club and enjoyed every second of writing, editing, publishing and leading the group to write about whatever their hearts desired. During my time at The Odyssey, I was featured on their front pages twice, and realized writing would always be ingrained into me, even many years after college. So, I have committed and kept my blog up and running since my early high school years. I've written about love, loss, social media, mental health and many other things over the years. My blog will give you a better perspective and idea of who I am and what I stand for and know many of you are here simply to see what I'm writing about now.

I'm also a big volunteer. I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes at the age of 8, and have spent the last 17 years volunteering, raising money, walking to cure, meeting with government members, and providing education to classes, schools and other bodies of people over the year. I have found a passion in teaching and showing others what life with T1D is like. While volunteering for T1D is personal to me I have also fallen in love with volunteering with many other organizations, including Operation Christmas child, Angel Tree, my local food bank(s), and passing out food/necessities to the homeless. These aren't things I shout to the world, simply because I think everyone should be doing something to help others. I believe that if you have something to give you should give, and for me I don't make millions but give time and love to others. I love learning their stories, where they want to go and see how I can possibly help, even if I don't have the finances to do so. The world is so large, and I think it would be a much happier and healthier place if we stopped fully focusing on ourselves and looked around to help others.

Apart from these things, I love social media. Obviously, really who my age doesn't at this point our phone are glued to our hands, we have more pictures than we'll ever be able to look at and access to the world at our fingertips. While I don't post as much as many others, I enjoy helping people find their niches and growing their profiles. You can find what I really do on my resume tab, but I also like to mention it here since it is such a big part of my life. I love creating everything from

- graphics for brands

- branding boards for creators

- merchandise launches and designs

- photo shoots for Instagram pages

- design and creating specialized websites

- building community engagement boards, Discord communities, and other interactive spaces for fans

and much more, while also watching insights, running accounts, and obtaining sponsorships. Social media has always fascinated me and I enjoy learning all the outlets in which social media runs our world.
